    Largest Known Mint Multiple

"Yellow Hat Variety", 1998 Unissued Non-Denominational "H" Rate Stamp, Multicolor. (Original Gum - Never Hinged). A four by five block of 20, the largest known mint multiple of this unissued "Postcard Rate" stamp, originally intended to cover the 20c postcard rate in conjunction with the January 10, 1999 first class postal rate increase. Beginning with the initial discovery of ten mint examples in a kitchen drawer in a home just outside Greencastle, IN, only slightly over 100 mint examples are known, mostly discovered in Greencastle, overall with most blocks having been broken into singles, a number of which are faulty. An Extremely Fine to Superb and extremely rare showpiece of significant importance. 2008 PSE Certificate...

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
