    Description

#1737c, 1978, 15c Multicolored. (Disturbed Original Gum). Imperforate booklet pane of eight, original gum, while the certificate states "with the gum mostly removed from the top half of the top two stamps", examination of the pane raises the possibility that the gum may have actually been short run rather than removed, beyond that, the pane with a horizontal crease just above the top two stamps, approximately where the perforations normally would be allowing for removal from the booklet, and the as issued horizontal paper fold across the middle. Overall Very Fine to Extremely Fine for this. 2008 PSE Certificate. (Scott $2,200)...

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
