Apollo 11: Neil Armstrong Signed Limited Edition Paul Calle Lithograph (#125/1000). A 19" x 29" B&W lithographed pencil sketch depicting Neil Armstrong as he suited up on July 16, 1969 for his rendezvous with history. Paul Calle was one of eight artists chosen by NASA in 1962 to document the U.S. space program and was the only artist present when the crew of Apollo 11 prepared for launch. He was the designer of the popular "First Man on the Moon" postage stamp celebrating Armstrong's momentous first step. Armstrong and Calle both signed this print in pencil at the National Air and Space Museum on December 23, 1976, to raise money for the Charles Lindbergh Memorial Fund. The print in very good condition exhibiting some minor dings, creases, and light soiling.
