William H. Dana: Sixteen total flights. Signed: "Bill Dana". Astronaut wings earned.
William J. Knight: Sixteen total flights. Signed: "William J. Knight". Astronaut wings earned.
The X-15 rocket-powered aircraft set numerous speed and altitude records in the 1960s, reaching the edge of space and bringing back valuable data for use in developing later aircraft and spacecraft. NASA awards astronaut wings to anyone who flies above fifty miles altitude; the recipients are noted above. Four great signatures on an out-of-the-ordinary photo. Excellent.
