Photos of Nine of the First Eleven Cosmonauts in Space,
1961-1965. An amazing and historic grouping of thirteen 4" x 6"
lithographed photos on heavy postcard stock, bound into an album of
6.375" x 4". Nine are individual portraits in military uniform
(except Tereshkova) that are signed in ink directly on the photo.
Includes: Yuri Gagarin (Vostok 1- the first man in space);
Gherman Titov (Vostok 2); Andriyan Nikolayev (Vostok
3); Pavel Popovich (Vostok 4); Valery Bykovsky
(Vostok 5); Valentina Tereshkova (Vostok 6- the first woman
in space); Konstantin Feoktistov (Voskhod 1); and Pavel
Belyayev & Alexei Leonov (Voskhod 2). A very difficult
collection to assemble. Generally fine.
