Mercury Seven Astronauts: Limited Edition Color Print, #72/90, Signed by Carpenter, Cooper, Glenn and Schirra, Directly from the Schirra Family Collection, with Astronaut Scholarship Foundation COA. A very attractive 10" x 8" photo collage celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ASF. It is signed boldly in silver felt tips: "John Glenn", "Wally Schirra", "Scott Carpenter", and "Gordon Cooper". It was the six surviving Mercury astronauts with Betty Grissom that formed the Mercury 7 Foundation that later became the Astronaut Scholarship Fund. Included with this lot is a Certificate of Authenticity from ASF signed by Executive Director Linn LeBlanc bearing a photo of Gordon Cooper signing these prints, his last ASF activity before his death in 2004. Excellent. Included with this lot will be a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Wally's son, Walter.Auction Info
