Description
Gemini 9A Crew-Signed White Spacesuit Color Photo. A 10" x 8" NASA lithographed print captioned "Gemini IX Prime Crew/ Astronauts Thomas P. Stafford and Eugene A. Cernan." Each has signed across his spacesuit: "Tom Stafford" and "Gene Cernan". These two astronauts only became the prime crew for this particular mission because the original crew of Elliott See and Charles Bassett both died in a tragic plane crash just four months before the launch date. This was Stafford's second (Gemini 6A) and Cernan's first space mission. Pristine condition.Auction Info
