Chuck Yeager Signed Photo, Pictured Next to the Bell X-1A Rocket
Plane. An 8" x 10" glossy B&W photo signed in black ink:
"Chuck Yeager". Yeager piloted the Bell X-1A rocket plane to
a top speed of Mach 2.44, or 1,650 miles per hour, on December 12,
1953. The X-1A flight came after Yeager became the first person to
break the sound barrier in level flight while piloting the Bell X-1
on October 14, 1947. Excellent.
