Charles Conrad Large Signed Color Moonwalk Photograph, 19" x 15", matted to 19.5" x 15.5". Inscribed "To/ Joe/ Lots of luck &/ much thanks/ 'Pete'/ Charles Conrad Jr." The photo has faded a bit and there is surface damage in the upper portion, not near Conrad's bold handwriting. Apollo 12 astronauts Conrad and Alan Bean's two moonwalks totaled 7 hours and 45 minutes, November 19-20, 1969. Conrad died in 1999 at age 69 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Framed to 21.75" x 18". From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino. This lot is accompanied by a signed certificate of authentication from Garino verifying its provenance.Auction Info
