Description

"An out of the world view of Earth!!"

Bruce McCandless Signed Large STS-41-B Untethered Spacewalk Color Photo. A dramatic 20" x 16" silk finish photo on Kodak Endura paper of McCandless floating in the blackness of space above Earth's bright blue horizon in an extravehicular activity (EVA) outside the cabin of the shuttle Challenger during STS-41-B. He used a nitrogen-propelled hand-controlled Manned Maneuvering Unit that he helped develop and was the first astronaut to perform an untethered EVA. He has signed in silver felt tip: "An out of the world view/ of Earth!!/ The first untethered spacewalk--/ Bruce McCandless II/ STS-41-B". A fabulous image of this landmark event. Bumped lower right corner, otherwise excellent.
