Apollo 9 Vintage NASA "Red Number" Color Photos (Three), Images AS9-19-2920, AS9-21-3183 and AS9-21-3216: Flight of Lunar Module Spider. Three original chromogenic 10" x 8" prints of the initial deployment of an Apollo Lunar Module, on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso, with printed caption. Light processing flaw on borders of each print, otherwise very fine.These images depict an incredible step in the Apollo program. After the successful deployment of the Spider the successful lunar landing of Apollo 11 would come only months later. From The Vintage Photo Archive of NASA Engineer Scott H Simpkinson.
