Description
Apollo 8 Crew-Signed Color "Earthrise" Photo. A 10" x 8" color glossy photo, the famous image of Earth "rising" above the lunar horizon, taken December 24, 1968. Along the lunar surface, the crew has signed: "To: B. G. McNabb/ With sincere best. wishes and thanks/ for making this picture/ possible/ James Lovell"; "Frank Borman" and "Bill Anders". Byron G. McNabb worked at the Cape from the early days of the Mercury program. An extremely desirable item for the space autograph collector. Fine condition with a flaw in the paper in the field at left and a few minor crinkles.Auction Info
