Description
Apollo 16: John Young Signed White Spacesuit Color Photo. An 8" x 10" NASA lithographed print captioned "Astronaut John W. Young" and boldly signed in blue felt tip across his spacesuit: "John Young/ APOLLO 16". One of the second group of NASA astronauts chosen, Young was the first of that group to fly, on Gemini 3 with Gus Grissom. His long and distinguished career also included flights on Gemini 10, Apollo 10, and Apollo 16 (the ninth moonwalker). He later commanded the first manned Shuttle flight, STS-1, followed by STS-9.
