S-69-40308: Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin Deploying the
American Flag on the Lunar Surface. An original chromogenic 10"
x 8" print, a rare and desirable image picturing both Apollo 11
moonwalkers, taken by the 16mm camera aboard the Eagle, on
Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on
the verso. A small processing flaw on the lunar surface only
visible under raking light, otherwise very fine.This image is particularly significant because it captures one of the most momentous events in human space exploration history.
