Apollo 11 Original NASA Glass Film Slide, a View of Buzz Aldrin Preparing EASEP, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 2" square (sight size) positive transparency, NASA image AS11-40-5927, mounted in a hand-numbered 4" x 3.25" glass slide. Aldrin is shown preparing to deploy the Early Apollo Scientific Experiments Package (EASEP) during the Apollo 11 EVA. During flight the EASEP is stowed in the Lunar Module's scientific equipment bay at the left year quadrant of the descent stage looking forward. Aldrin is removing the EASEP from its stowed position. Neil Armstrong took this picture with a 70mm lunar surface camera. Rare and desirable. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival slab, CAG 1001744-007. Included with this lot is a color glossy photo of this image printed from the NASA archives. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
