Description
Apollo 11 Crew-Signed Large Color Photo. A 15.5" x 19.5" color photo of Michael Collins in full spacesuit, giving a "thumbs up" sign as he and his crewmates enter the transfer van on their way to the Launchpad and the history books on July 16, 1969. It is inscribed by Collins at the top: "To John, Robin, and Jimmy/ Best Wishes from Apollo 11" and signed at lower right by all three: "Neil Armstrong", "Buzz Aldrin", and "M Collins", all in bold black felt tip. Totally unique in our experience. Framed (no glass) to an overall 17" x 21". The photo has a good amount of surface soiling and a couple of scrapes but nothing affects the signatures; the frame has numerous scratches and dings. Overall very good condition but with excellent display appeal.Auction Info
