Apollo 10 Vintage NASA Color Photos (Three, Two are "Red Numbered"), Images AS10-27-3873, AS10-27-3907, & AS10-34-5112: Command Module, Lunar Surface, and Lunar Module. Three original chromogenic 10" x 8" prints on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the versos along with press captions. As follows.AS10-27-3873- This image captures the Apollo 10 Command and Service Module Charlie Brown as photographed from the Lunar Module Snoopy after CSM/LM separation in lunar orbit. The CSM was about 175 statute miles east of Smyth's Sea and was above the rough terrain which is typical of the lunar far side. Small processing flaw at left edge. Very Small processing flaw at left edge, otherwise excellent
AS10-27-3907- This image provides an oblique view of landing site 3. The craters Bruce and Pallas V can be seen in Sinus Medii. This image is significant as it provides a westward view across Apollo Landing Site 3 in the Central Bay. The topographic features on the surface of the Central Bay are accentuated by the low sun angle. No number on the front but definitely from this period. Small processing flaw at left edge, otherwise excellent.
AS10-34-5112- This photograph captures the moment of the LM Snoopy approaching the CSM Charlie Brown in lunar orbit. Its significance lies in its portrayal of a critical maneuver during the mission, showcasing the intricate and precise orbital mechanics and rendezvous procedures required for the LM to redock with the CSM.
