Andriyan Nikolayev, the Third Cosmonaut in Space, Signed Photo Bearing a Soviet "Vostok 3/4" Stamp, with Certificate of Authenticity from Novaspace. A 3.75" x 5.625" signed B&W photo with the caption on verso (translated from Russian): "Pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General of Aviation, Candidate of Technical Sciences Andriyan Grigorievich Nikolaev (Vostok-3, 1962; Soyuz-9, 1970)." The photo has a canceled stamp applied at bottom corner. Illustrated Novaspace COA included. Fine.

Andriyan Nikolayev was a Soviet cosmonaut who flew two space missions. He became the third Soviet cosmonaut to fly into space when he piloted the Vostok 3 spacecraft in 1962, setting a new endurance record by orbiting the Earth 64 times over nearly 4 days. Nikolayev later commanded the Soyuz 9 mission in 1970, which set a new record for the longest single spaceflight at the time with a duration of almost 18 days in orbit.
