Apollo 7 Flown Heat Shield Plug in Full Capsule-Shaped Display. A large, handsome display measuring an overall 9" x 8" x 6.5", with a 3.5" x 4" conical display containing a large segment of heat shield flown on the first successful crewed Apollo mission. Contained in the base of the display is a 4.25" x 3.25" embroidered mission patch as well as information pertaining to the flight. An absolutely eye-catching display piece that is rarely offered.
