Description
Gordon Cooper 1993-dated Autograph Letter Signed Regarding the Space Program. One page lined legal pad paper, 8.5" x 11", to Mary Rogers of Azuza, California. He writes in blue ballpoint, in part: "I feel very lucky and very privileged to have been in the right place, at the right time, and with the experience required to be selected to be one of the first seven Mercury Astronauts. The Space Program has been and still is a very worthwhile program for our country...". He signs at close: "Gordon Cooper/ Col. USAF (Ret)". Not common in this form, certainly fine content.
