    U.S. Contract Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Trench Shotgun with Bayonet.
    Serial no. 1034892 [barrel and frame], 12 gauge [2 3/4-inch], 21-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight. Parkerized finish. U.S. and flaming bomb to right side of receiver. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and grooved fore-end. G.H.D. stamped to left side of stock just above a small Ordnance Corps escutcheon. Two sling swivels and leather shoulder sling marked: MRT. Checkered factory hard rubber butt. Sold along with U.S. Remington 1917 bayonet, with 17-inch blade and scabbard. Manufactured in 1947.

    Condition: Very good to excellent. Few thin spots, minor handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings to stock, minor to slide. Action crisp. Bright bore.
