    Engraved Winchester Model 1897 Slide Action Shotgun.
    Serial no. 88444, 16 gauge, 28-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll and hunting dog scenes to receiver. Finely figured, checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Factory rubber recoil pad. Manufactured in 1900.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% of a thinning finish, with noticeable signs of wear and pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
