    Description

    Signal Cannon by Naval Company, Doylestown, Pa. The cast iron small breechloading signal cannon, having a 12-inch barrel hinged on trunnions and firing a blank 12 gauge shotgun shell with the use of an added cord lanyard. Iron frame with two steel wheels. Small escutcheon on left side of cannon reading: Naval Company/Doylestown, PA. Sold together with handmade wooden ramp used to fire the cannon with a nylon cord recoil break and handmade aluminum ejector rod to remove the fired shells. Overall length: 16 1/2-inches. Condition: Very good with light wear overall.
