    Remington Model 11A Semi-Automatic Shotgun. Serial no. 257, (first year of production) 12ga., 28-inch barrel with brass bead front sight on textured rib. Poly-choke. Blued finish. Barrel with Remington address. June 16, 1903 last Browning patent date on receiver. Straight grain forearm. Figured grain stock with horn buttplate marked: "REMINGTON AUTOMATIC."

    Condition: Fair to good. Retaining approximately 50% original blue with the balance fading to a gray-brown patina. Heavy wear throughout with scattered patches of frosting. Forend likely a replacement. Repairs to wrist. Numerous dents, scratches and chips to stock. Buttplate with chip at toe.
