Description
Engraved Italian Luigi Franchi Semi-Automatic Shotgun.Serial no. 125496, 12 gauge, 28-inch barrel with ventilated rib and fixed bead sights. Ventilated Poly Choke adjustable muzzle. Blued finish. Extensively scroll engraved receiver with decorative fowl scenes. Left side of receiver signed: L.A. LUIGI FRANCHI BRESCIA. Scroll engraved triggerguard. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Rosewood grip cap. Large carved fowl scene to right side of stock. Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad.
Condition: Excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear and few very fine spots of pitting. Scattered scuffs and scratches present to wood. Crisp action. Bright bore. Collection of a Southern Gentleman.
