    Description

    H. Pieper Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun.
    Serial no. 4981, 12 gauge, 30-inch barrels with fixed front bead sight. Top of barrel marked: H PIEPER PATENT 23 APRIL 1881 NO. 4891. Dual trigger. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and splinter fore-end. Checkered factory hard rubber buttplate.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a grey age patina with scattered signs of wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Noticeable crack to top of stock near wrist. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
