    Engraved Ward & Sons Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun.
    Unserialized, 12-gauge, 30-inch damascus barrels with fixed front bead sight. Top of barrel marked: WARD & SONS 1 BASINGHALL STREET LONDON E.C. Elaborately scroll engraved receiver, hammers, upper tang, triggerguard and butt. Case-hardened receiver marked WARD on each side. Dual triggers. Checkered walnut straight stock and splinter fore-end. Brass oval escutcheon to base of stock. Length of pull: 14 1/2-inches. Weight: 8-ponds.

    Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Some vibrant case colors remaining. Left side firing pin absent. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bores.
