Ornate Presentation 12 gauge Winchester Model 21 Sideplated Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 23495. 12 gauge. 30-inch barrels with concave matted rib with two beads. Muzzles and breech with wedges of foliate scroll and floral engraving with gold inlay. Breech with two ducks and two pheasants in gold. Coin-finished sideplated boxlock action with foliate scroll and floral engraving. Gold borders with gold inlays of game birds ( ducks, pheasants, grouse, and partridge) and dogs (pointer, setters and German short hair pointers). Triggerguard with partridge in flight in gold. Steel grip cap with foliate scroll and gold floral inlay. Engraving signed by Angelo Bee. Single selective trigger. Automatic safety. Pierced top lever. Ejectors. Finely checkered custom pistolgrip stock of Exhibition grade highly figured walnut. Drop points. Engraved and gold inlayed skeleton buttplate. Finely checkered beavertail fore-end. Brown leather trunk case with red baize. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bore: 0.0734/0.0734 inches. Chokes: 0.012/0.034 inches (Modified/Improved Modified). Chambers: 2 ¾ inches. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 ½ inches. Drop: 1 ½ inches at comb, 2 inches at comp. Weight: 7 pounds 10 ounces.
