    Ithaca Double Barrel Shotgun.
    Serial no. 57528, 12 ga., 30-inch damascus barrels with fine matte rib. Incredibly fine scroll/bank note-engraving to breech, side plates and bottom of receiver. Detailed hunting dogs at the base of each side plate. Behind the breeches marked: ITHACA GUN CO. Engraving extends to each screw in the action. Highly figured walnut stock with relief carving bordering the finely checkered fore-end and pistol grip. Checkered pistolgrip cap with engraved screw. Gold escutcheon under stock with monogrammed L. Ithaca Gun Co. hard rubber butt pad.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Barrels now a smooth dull gray bare metal patina with scattered surface rust. Generous amounts of case color remain on receiver and lever. Light handling wear to stocks. Soiling to butt pad with surface rust to one screw. Bright bores showing very little wear.
