    Serial no. 42 1438, 12 gauge [2 3/4-inch], 31 3/4-inch barrel with hand matted ventilated rib marked: JOSEF WINKLER, FERLACH AUSTRIA. Colored bead sights. Blued finish. Scroll engraving and gold bordering to breeches. Coin finished receiver with deeply engraved game scenes with leaf and scroll on all metal parts. Extensive gold bordering. Pierced top lever with sculptured squirrel and acorn. Gold-plated trigger. LGB on triggerguard. Bushed firing pin. Finely checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and ventilated fore-end. Scroll and fowl engraved metal grip cap. Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad. Chokes: 0.022 / (#2) 0.008 (Improved Modified / Improved Cylinder). Pull: 14-inches. Weight: 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Sold along with an Identical barrel.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with thinning to muzzle, few noticeable scuffs and very fine pitting. Minor scratches to wood. Ding near top of right side. Action good. Bright bores.
