    Engraved German Ehrhardt Lauf Drilling. Serial no. 34244, 16 gauge and 8mm, 26 7/8-inch barrel cluster with matted rib, fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Damascus finish. Snap underlever. Triggerplate action. Greener-style safety. Rear set trigger. Elaborately engraved underlever, tang and receiver, scroll, floral and game scenes. Tang marked: TREFF / D.R.G.M. Finely checkered pistolgrip walnut stock and fore-end. Horn grip cap. Engraved storage compartment at base of stock. Swivel sling mounts. Grooved hard rubber buttplate.
    Condition: Good to very good. Barrels have been cleaned, the balance a smooth grey patina with handling wear and scattered pitting. Wood showing scuffs, gouges and bruising. Noticeable scuff to left side of pistolgrip. Scratching to buttplate. Action is good. Bright bores.
