    Description

    Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun by William Moore of London. Unserialized, 12 gauge, 29 3/4-inch Damascus barrels with brass bead front sight on concave rib. Barrels marked, "??? STEEL TWIST." Unadorned sidelock action maker-marked, "WILLIAM MOORE LONDON." Brass triggerguard and forearm tip. Walnut stock with checkered wrist and forearm. Steel buttplate. Hardwood cleaning rod.
    Condition: Good to very good. Finish is now a smooth gray-brown patina. Upper tang with signs of having been touched up. Stock appears to have been sanded smooth. Action is crisp. Nipples possibly replaced. Breech may have been repaired.
