Cased & Highly Engraved Matched Pair of Beretta S06 EELL Over & Under Shotguns, Engraving by Giancarlo Pedretti.Comprising: 1.) Serial no. A01169B [barrels and receiver], 12 gauge, 28-inch barrels with ventilated rib and fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll engraved coin-finished receiver, blued lever and triggerguard. Gilt accented crown to lever and 1 to triggerguard. Gold-plated trigger. Checkered walnut straight stock and fore-end. Checkered butt. Length of pull: 14 1/8-inches. Weight: 7-pounds. 2.) Serial no. A01170B [barrels and receiver], 12 gauge, 28-inch barrels with ventilated rib fixed front white-dot sight. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll engraved coin-finished receiver, blued lever and triggerguard. Gilt accented crown to lever and 2 to triggerguard. Gold-plated trigger. Checkered walnut straight stock and fore-end. Checkered butt. Signed G. Pedretti to each by the front of the triggerguards. Length of pull: 14 1/8-inches. Weight: 6-pounds, 8-ounces. Very nice consecutively numbered pair. Contained in original leather carrying case with green felt lining. Together with paperwork when originally purchased in 1996 for $40,000 dollars through Blackhawk Outfitters, Ltd. in Danville, California [guns have been owned by current family since]. Guns also come with photocopies of work done to them by Daniel Cullity Restoration in 1997 and minor repair/restoration in 2000, Including Survey and Adjustments to them by serial number [in 1997]. One interesting photocopy note included in sale reads BERETTA #A01170B & A01169B WERE GIFTS FROM MR. GARDENI TO PREMIER MATTARAN. THEN SOLD TO MR. DANILO DI / YOURS TRULY / [SIGNATURE] / UBERTO, Dated MAR 26, 1996.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Each overall showing light handling wear, some finish loss to barrels due to fore-end. Few scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Some noticeable storage wear present to leather.
