Cased 20/28 Gauge Winchester Model 23 Pigeon Grade Double Barrel Shotgun 2 Barrel Set.Serial no. WBS226E, 20 and 28 gauge, 25 1/2-inch barrels with matted rib. Blued boxlock action with gold inlays and game scene engraving. Single selective trigger. Automatic ejectors. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of highly figured walnut with Fleur-dis-lys. Recoil pad. Finely checkered beavertail fore-end for each set of barrels. Maker's fitted leather trunk case with implements. Chokes: 20 gauge: 0.012/0.018 inches (Modified/Improved Modified), 28 Gauge: 0.006/0.012 inches (Improved Cylinder/Modified). Drop at comb: 1 ½ inches, Drop at heel: 2 ½ inches. Pull: 14 1/8. Weight: 7 pounds.
