    Serial no.: 968.12 gauge. 30-inch Damascus barrels with matted concave rib marked: Charles Daly Extra Fine Damascus Diamond Quality. Casehardened boxlock action fully engraved with fine foliate scroll with a game scene of a setter with game birds on the underside. Game birds on triggerguard. Ejectors. Automatic safety. Cocking indicators. Intercepting safety. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of highly figured walnut. Nickel-silver oval with initials: M D. Horn buttplate. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with Deeley-Edge release. Leather leg of mutton case. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores. 0.724/0.725 inches. Chokes: 0.012/0.018 inches. Chambers: 2 ¾ inches. Pull: 14 ½ inches. Weight: 7 ½ pounds. Condition: Fine. Barrels show 90-95% finish with some discoloration in places. Excellent bright bores. Action shows 25-30% case colors. Stock shows two long scratches on left side and some handling marks. Fore-end shows a few slight marks. Case in poor condition. Note: Gun is from the Marcus Daly family collection. The initials on the oval stand for Marcus Daly.
