    *Cased Rare 12 Gauge 2-inch Holland & Holland Royal Self-opening Sidelock Ejector Double Barrel Shotgun with .410 Purbaugh Sub Gauge Tubes. Serial no. 33085. 12-2 inch gauge. 28-inch chopperlump barrels with raised concave smooth rib. Brush bright action with bar action eight pin locks. Action and locks engraved with bold foliate scroll and maker's name in a banner. Single non-selective trigger. Easy opening system. Non-automatic safety. Cocking indicators. Rolled triggerguard. Finely checkered straight grip stock of straight grain stock with some figure. 1/2-inch wood extension on butt. Drop points. Vacant oval. Finely checkered replacement (by others) beavertail fore-end with Anson style release. Brown leather period trunk case with single brass lock. Red baize interior maker's black leather label, charge card numbered to the gun and instructions. Square oil bottle. The gun is numbered 2 of trio made in 1936 for a Mr. Twyford. Extra set of .410 Purbaugh sub gauge tubes, no extractors.

    Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.739/0.738 inches. Chokes: 0.008/0.006 inches (Improved Cylinder/Cylinder). Chambers: 2 inches. Minimum wall thickness: 0.019 inches (Note: Wall thickness is below recommended minimum). Proof: London Nitro, 12, 12, 2", 12c, 1 1/8. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 inches. Drop at comb: 1 1/2 inches. Drop at heel: 2 1/8 inches. Cast-off: 1/2 inches. Weight: 5 pounds, 11 ounces.
    Condition: Excellent, as partially redone. Barrels show 98% reblued finish. Excellent bright bores. Barrels show an upward bend, rippling on the top surfaces and has a dull ring. Action/barrels shows slight looseness. Refinished stock shows a gloss finish with a very few light marks. Fore-end shows a few light marks. Tubes in excellent condition. Case in good condition. Exterior with losses to the edges of the case, and a burned 2 x 7 inch area with losses and some nicks and scratches. Interior is very good with small losses.
