    **Cased 28 Gauge Galazan Sidelock Ejector Over and Under Shotgun. Serial no. G400. 28 gauge. 28-inch barrels marked: A Galazan / Connecticut Shotgun Mfg. Co. N.B. CT. U.S.A. Solid file-cut rib. Coin finished sidelock action fully engraved with deep floral designs with a black background and game scenes: left side: a covey of valley quail taking flight in a meadow with a quail in the floral design, right side: a pair of woodcock taking flight from the edge of a stream with another in the floral design. Underside with a scene of a Brittany spaniel pointing in the field. Engraving is signed: Creative Arts G. Fausti. Ejectors. Single non-selective inertial trigger. Non-automatic safety. Very finely checkered straight grip stock of highly figured dark walnut. Drop points. Very finely checkered butt with heavily engraved heel and toe plates. Very finely checkered enlarged fore-end with Anson-style release. Oak and leather trunk case with brown leather and brass fittings. Brass corners, single lock and leather straps. Maroon baize interior with oak topped partitions. Accessories include snap caps, cleaning rod and implements and oil bottle. Green canvas and brown leather case cover.

    Condition: Excellent, showing limited use. Barrels show 99%+ bluing. Excellent bright bores. Action face shows a trace of cartridge rings. Stock and fore-end show a few very light marks. Case in excellent condition with a few impressions from the belts. Interior shows an impression on the lid.
