    Cased Rare 16 gauge Winchester Model 21 Tournament Grade Double Barrel Shotgun. Serial no. 7877, 16 gauge, 26-inch barrels with matted concave rib. Blued sculpted action later engraved in the manner of a 21-5 pattern with game birds and a setter. The engraving is signed: PM. (Pauline Muerrle, was the only female engraver at Winchester). Ejectors. Automatic safety. Single selective trigger. Possibly replaced finely checkered half-pistolgrip stock of highly figured walnut with maker's grip cap and heel plate. Finely checkered beavertail fore-end.
    Data: Barrel dimensions: Bores: 0.672/0.673-inches. Chambers: 2 5/8-inches. Chokes: 0.008-inches/ 0.012-inches. (Improved Cylinder/Modified). Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 1/8-inches. Drop at comb: 1 1/2-inches. Drop at heel: 2-inches. Cast-off: 1/8-inches. Weight: 6 pounds 15 ounces. Note: The Cody Firearms Museum records show that the gun was made in 1933 as a Tournament Grade. Later oak and leather trunk case with red baize interior and maker's label. Accessories include snap caps, and oil bottle. Condition: Excellent, as redone. Barrels show 98-99% reblued finish. Excellent bright bores with slight leading at chambers. Action shows 99% reblued finish. Stock and fore-end show a very few light marks to the finish. Case in very good condition with a few scratches on the lid.
