    Cased 12 Gauge Holland & Holland Hammer Double Barrel Shotgun Circa 1891. Serial no. 14123. 12 gauge. 30-inch Damascus barrels with game rib. Casehardened border engraved back action with low hammers. Top lever. Extractor. Checkered straight grip stock of well figured walnut. Later 1-inch leather covered recoil pad. Checkered splinter fore-end with Deeley-Edge style release. Period dark leather trunk case with brass corners and hardware. Recently professionally relined in red baize. Later accessories include, Chamber brush, turnscrews, snap caps, oil bottle and cleaning rod. Reproduction makers label and charge cards. Green canvas and tan leather case cover. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bore Dimensions: 0.734/0.739 inches. Chokes: 0.002/0.028 (Cylinder/Improved Modified). Chambers: 2 1/2 inches. Minimum Wall Thickness: 0.030/0.019 inches. Proof: London, Black Powder, 12/12. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 7/8 inches. Drop at comb: 1 5/8 inches. Drop at heel: 2 inches. Cast-off: 3/16 inches. Weight: 6 pounds 10 ounces.

    Condition: Excellent, as redone. Barrels show re-browned barrels. Bright bores with a few light marks. Action shows 99% vivid re-case colors by Doug Turnbull. Action tight with fore-end in place. Refinished and recheckered stock. Case in excellent condition with exterior showing some wear. New straps and case cover.
