    Serial no. 4001. 12 gauge. 29 7/8-inch barrels with matted game rib. Rib marked: Made in Belgium. Casehardened scalloped boxlock action engraved with foliated scroll and bouquets. Fences with Acanthus leaves in relief. Greener-style crossbolt. Ejectors. Side clips. Non-automatic safety. Finely checkered half pistolgrip stock of straight grain walnut with areas of figure. Round knob. Drop points. Vacant nickel silver shield. Engraved heel and toe plates. Sling eyes. Checkered splinter fore-end with Anson-style release. Data: Barrel dimensions: Bores: 0.728/0.728 inches. Chokes: 0.040/0.040 inches. (Full). Chambers: 2 3/4 inches. Proof: Belgian Nitro, 18.4/18.4, 70mm. Stock Dimensions: Pull:14 3/8 inches. Drop at comb: 1 1/2 inches. Drop at heel: 2 3/8 inches. Cast-off: 3/16 inches. Weight: 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
    Condition: Excellent, as partially redone. Barrels show 96-98% reblued finish. Bright bores show some rivelling. Action shows 40-50% case colors. Stock shows a refreshed finish with some marks in the checkering and butt. Fore-end shows some losses to the edges.
