    **Cased 12 Gauge Beretta SO-5 Sidelock Over and Under Shotgun. Serial no. 35179. 12 gauge. 30-inch monoblock barrels with low ventilated matted rib. Coin finished action with back action four pin hand detachable locks. Hidden lock releases. Action and locks completely engraved with fine foliate scroll with floral details. Engraving is similar to that of the current SO 9. Gold plated single selective trigger. Ejectors. Non automatic safety. Blued pierced top lever with gold crown. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of figured walnut with adjustable leather comb insert. Adjustable Morgan buttplate with Decelerator recoil pad. Finely checkered enlarged fore-end. Gun dates to 1969. Maker's canvas covered trunk case with double locks. Corduroy fabric interior with flannel sleeves.

    Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.724/0.728 inches. Chokes: 0.029/0.019 inches (Improved Modified/Modified). Chambers: 2 3/4 inches. Minimum wall thickness: 0.028 inches. Proof: Italian Nitro, 18.4, 18.5, CAM 70. XXV. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 1/4 inches. Drop at comb: 1 3/8 inches. Drop at heel: 2 1/8 inches. Cast: None. Weight: 8 pounds.
    Condition: Excellent, as partially redone. Barrels show 94-96% bluing with an area of three inch long area of fine spotting on left side of barrels ahead of the fore-end. Excellent bright bore. Recoated modified stock shows some light marks. Fore-end shows one or two very light marks. Case in good condition. Case shows scuffing and losses to the fabric on the edges. Interior shows some staining and minor losses.
