    *12 Gauge Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun with Gold Inlays - Three Barrel and Two Fore-end Set. Serial no. 27487. 12 gauge. 28-inch barrel (2 3/4 - 3 inch, Mod, Full) with matted concave rib. 28-inch barrel (2 3/4 inch, WS-1, WS-2) with matted flat rib. 26-inch barrels (2 3/4 inch, Mod, Imp. Cyl) with matted concave rib. All barrels with the maker's name on the side of the barrel and numbered to the gun. Barrels with 3-inch wedges of foliate scroll engraving at breeches. Blued side panel action engraved with Winchester 21-6 pattern of foliate scroll and game scenes with gold inlays in the ovals. Gold inlays: Left side: a setter, right side: a pointer, floorplate: a pair of pheasants and triggerguard: a spaniel's head. Ejectors. Single selective trigger. Automatic safety. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of dark well-figured walnut. Winchester 21 B pattern checkering with fleur-de-lis and banding. Steel grip cap and maker's buttplate. Two beavertail fore-ends, a skeet style and a field style, numbered to the gun, both with 21B checkering with fleur-de-lis and banding. Furniture engraved with foliate scroll. Orange plastic Italian trunk case with "Pigeon Gun" on the lid. Blue faux chamois interior.

    Condition: Excellent. 28-3 inch barrels show 99% bluing with excellent bright bores. 28-inch flat rib barrels show 99% bluing. Excellent bores, right bore shows some frosting near the muzzle. 26-inch barrels show 99% bluing. Right barrel shows a very small dent on the top and bottom. Excellent bright bores. Action shows 99+% bluing. Stock shows very few slight marks. Both fore-ends show a very few light marks. Case in excellent condition.
