    Description

    The Discovery Piece

Wilson & Marshall: Unbelievable St. Louis Button Company Real Photo Jugate. If this doesn't get your juices flowing, you don't belong in the hobby! 1 1/4" sepia button features real photo portraits of the 1912 Democrats with an eagle & shield above and a billowing flag below, all against sun rays. St. Louis Button Company back paper. The same design was later used for Harding & Coolidge and Cox & Roosevelt. A TR-Johnson is also known, issued for a one-day convention in Missouri. It makes sense that examples were made for Taft and Wilson but, until now, none have surfaced. Superb condition. We are honored to be able to offer it.
