    Description

William Henry Harrison: New York Delegate Nominating Convention Ribbon. National nominating conventions did not begin until the election of 1832, and the first ribbons from such conventions were issued 1840. This is a particularly nice example. Measuring 3" x 6 1/2" and has a wonderful scene of Harrison on horseback in front of his log cabin. The ribbon has some minor wear, else in fine condition. This is one of the better convention ribbons in support of Harrison for the presidency.
