    Description

William Henry Harrison: Extremely Rare and Desirable Medal. WHH-1840-90, 41mm white metal. One side shows Harrison on horseback with the caption "Victory or Death." The other side has an eagle, cannon, and inscription related to "The Battle of the Thames." Only several known, this variety is considered among the best of the many medals and tokens issued for Harrison and is regarded as one of the premier nineteenth-century campaign medals for any candidate. This specimen is especially pleasing! In lovely condition with some very minor wear noticeable to the extreme left edge on the side, featuring eagle and cannon. The side with Harrison on horseback is excellent. Overall a splendid example that would be difficult to improve upon!
