    Description

William Henry Harrison: Extensive Log Cabin and Hard Cider Clothing Button Collection. Group of twenty-nine [29] clothing buttons issued on behalf of William Henry Harison in the famous Log Cabin and Hard Cider campaign of 1840. All mounted to a "button board" with identification by Albert numbers. There are three "lonesome" cider barrels, one Harrison portrait, one "Harrison Ohio" back name (super rare!) with the balance depicting the log cabin. Based on the markings, these all seem to be different varieties, with some variations being minor. Condition ranges from very good to mint. It would take many years to assemble such a collection again.
