    Description

Polk & Dallas: Pewter Rim Medallion. JP-1844-10a, 65 mm pewter. 2.5" medallion with black & white lithographic portraits of "James K. Polk" and "George M. Dallas" on either side. Some light abrasions to the Polk portrait, lacks metal suspension loop. Frame likely disassembled at one time for glass replacement. Polk material is quite scarce. This is a fine example for a tough candidate. It is much harder to source than examples for his opponent Clay.
