    Description

High Relief William Henry Harrison Medal 38mm. This is certainly one of the most desirable Harrison medals issued in 1840. It describes him as "The Log Cabin Candidate The People's Choice" and has high relief images of Harrison, his cabin and hard cider barrel. It is listed as Sullivan-DeWitt WHH-1840-21 in gilded white metal. It is in excellent condition and displays minimal wear. The gilding may have been an effort to give the medal the appearence of a more precious metal, and was likely done at the time.
