    Description

1829 Andrew Jackson Backname Button in Gilt Brass. Listed as Albert PC-82, DeWitt AJACK 1828-12, 20 mm. The front is blank. The back reads: "Andrew Jackson March 4, 1829" around an ornamental rectangle surrounded by stars. Fine condition, retaining much of its original gilding, however, some of the lettering has become worn and hard to read. It is said that only four of these exist, however, that is unlikely. Nonetheless it is an interesting and desirable piece!
