    Description

    Tiffany & Co. World Time Alarm Desk Clock Engraved, "The President, November 22, 1963 - January 20, 1969", Benefiting Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. This circular clock is in brushed gilt brass and has an inclined base. It also has an inclined brushed silvered annular ring with applied gilt brass baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals. An inner rotating gilt and silver world planisphere is divided into sectors and with the names of twenty-four world cities and countries. The clock has gilt baton and circular hands. The 8-day Swiss movement is 15 jewels. The face is marked "Tiffany & Co.". The clock is 4-inches in diameter. Missing the set key for the alarm and the crystal, otherwise, in fine condition. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Lynda Johnson Robb.

    A full 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in honor of the 2012 Centennial of Lady Bird Johnson's birth.
